Research & Development Electrical Engineer

Summary:

Controlled Power Company is looking for a resourceful, innovative, and hardworking Electrical Engineer for our R&D department.   This individual will work with our engineering team to ensure integration of entire systems / subsystems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain circuit board designs by updating prints and loading parts to the circuit boards
  • Revise and update unit firmware
  • Enter engineering change notices, and complete other engineering documentation tasks as required
  • Troubleshoot occasional hardware and software problems

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or in Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • College internship(s) and/or 1+ year professional work experience in the above criteria
  • Experience with Power Electronics is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and flexible, with the desire to learn and grow

  • Hours:  Full time, Monday – Friday; 8-hour day, flexible start time

Summary:

Controlled Power Company is seeking to fill General Labor positions in our manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Product assembly

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school graduate, or equivalent
  • Solid work background, previous experience preferred
  • Successfully pass a written tool test, grade of 80% minimum
