Description The Series 700A/M Power Processor provides regulated, conditioned and clean power to CT/MRI/PET/Linear Accelerator/X-Ray and other imaging/treatment equipment ensuring accurate, clear and most of all sure image scans. The Series 700A/M Power Processor utilizes a proprietary power sampling technique to ensure that the proper voltage value is always present at the load and that there are no damaging effects of over or undershoot of voltage, thus protecting the sensitive medical imaging equipment from erratic voltages generated by most medical grade power conditioners. Three Phase Sizes: 60K(i), 75k(i), 100K(i), 190K(i) Features & Benefits Technical Specs Applications FAQ |

FAQ
K(i) rating stands for intermittent kVA. Most imaging and treatment equipment have a high inrush current when doing a scan or a treatment. Current may rise as high as 3 to 5 times the steady state current. Most manufacturers will size a power conditioner to the maximum current. The end result is wasted energy in excitation currents, oversized transformers and larger footprints. Controlled Power Company designs their units to handle the inrush current while reducing the size of the transformer. The Series 700A/M Power Processor regulates the voltage to well within factory specifications of the imaging equipment as well as protects the equipment from damaging electrical events such as ground noise and spikes. When the power going to the machine is clean and regulated the imaging device will operate at it's optimum performance. In most cases if image scans are of poor quality or the equipment is not functioning properly on a frequent basis or even sporadic occurances, then the power going to the piece of imaging equipment could be out of specification and may need a power conditioner. The Series 700A/M Power Processor has many different features that set it apart from other power conditioners. #1)Low Output Impedance. The Series 700A/M Power Processor has a less than 2% output impedance. This gives the power conditioner a higher inrush capability which is common with imaging equipment. #2)Regulation Sampling. The Series 700A/M Power Processor samples the incoming waveform and regulates the voltage using a technique that prevents over or under correction of voltage which improves the life of the imaging equipment as well as the devices in the regulator itself. #3)Isolation. Some voltage regulators do not have any type of isolation capabilities. Isolation is critical in the protection of medical imaging equipment. With isolation, not only is a new ground neutral reference created but also spike attenuation, harmonic attenuation and ground noise attenuation is achieved. |
